Conference Details

Tentative Schedule: 9:00am-3:30pm
TASL Status: APPROVED- STATE APPROVED
Location: Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 620 Parkrose Avenue Memphis, Tennessee 38109.
CONFERENCE DETAILS
• 4 Hours of TASL credit will be provided to attendees who complete the conference sessions. (Agendas at NUSCconsulting.com -print after registration)
• Schools are encouraged to send their school leadership/behavior support teams (i.e., principals, assistant principals, behavior specialists, counselors, teachers, monitors, TAs etc.). This will ensure that your school has access to the variety of topics that will be covered during the conference.
• Catered lunch will be provided!
• Vendors will be available to share resources
• The conference’s time will be from 9:00am-3:00pm on Thursday June 5, 2025, at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. The cutoff for registration will be Friday MAY 30, 2025. However, seating is limited and will be designated on a first come first serve basis.
PAYMENT DETAILS
The standard non-refundable registration & conference fee is $982, per person. Seating is limited, so sign up quickly. 50% of the Conference fee ($491) is required by Monday April 19th, to guarantee seating. Remaining balances can be paid in-person during registration at the conference location.
Total balances can also be paid in-person by check on the date of the conference, if seating is available. Please remember that the conference seating will be given to individuals who paid their 50% first. However, notification will be provided early to alert registrants if capacity is reached weeks before the conference starts (prior to them remitting payment).
After payment, a confirmation will be emailed to you but it is not automated. The final conference balance must be paid prior to the event or at the conference’s physical location during conference registration, in order for participants to attend.

▪ If attendees are not able to attend due to an emergent situation after paying the conference fee, they will be allowed to send another individual in their place after notifying NUSC.
▪ Conference attendance fees may be paid onsite at the conference during registration but you are encouraged to pay as early as possible.

About our CEO
For more than 24 years, Dr. JB Blocker IV has served in roles that have equipped him to strengthen educational environments. He currently serves as the Executive Director of School Operations with the Haywood County Schools system and recently served as the Senior Manager of Equity, Discipline & Intervention for more than 200 schools within the Memphis City area. During this time, he advised and counseled executive administrators at the district and school levels on methods of maintaining compliance with federal and state mandates. Throughout the years, he has also served as an inner city project counselor, Youth Villages monitor, substitute teacher, elementary teacher, District-wide Fine Arts Instructional Supervisor, high school administrator, Law Enforcement ACEs trainer, and Student Services Supervisor.
On his educational journey, he has obtained his Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts in Education, and Educational Specialist in Administration degrees. He obtained his Doctorate in Educational Leadership-Curriculum & Supervision in July of 2013. He currently holds professional, superintendent, administrative and teaching licenses/endorsements
